Tree Plantation @ Diksha

On the eve of World Environment day, Kids at Diksha Foundation planted trees in the campus.
The kids were introduced to the world of gardening.
This was also a small step to bring them close to the nature.
Using clay pots and old plastic bottles they made the campus look so colorful.
They will take care of the plants they planted and soon the campus will look colorful and green.
Spread smiles,plant trees and take care of those who take care of Us.

Srijan "share and express yourself" a workshop to nurture creative expression among kids was organized at S.R.Vidyapeeth school, Patna.
It was a bright sunny morning and the student came before time on Sunday morning at six.
The workshops started with kids laughing from all the corners. It was amazing to watch all of them laugh for the imperfect portraits they made in the beginning.
Creating the most beautiful picture is secondary to having a great time drawing the picture.
They had great time working together and guess what was the outcome excitement,satisfaction and respect for fellows.
These were not the by product but pillars supporting the roof of this joyful Workshop.
The message for the workshop was to share, express, make mistakes and create something from clay ,crafts ad colors so the fun of creation is not lost in pursuit of excellence.

My activity book.

Using old newspaper sheets the kids made some beautiful and colorful books.
This book helps them give wings to their imagination.
Imagination is like flowing river meandering and untouched and with this initiative
We aim to develop a connecting link between imagination and reality.
The outcome helps the kids understand the process and joy of creation.

Workshop at Swami Vivekanad school

The kids at Swami Vivekanand School in Patna shared with us their concern for the environment.
Its degradation and probable solutions in the form of collages,models, paintings and posters.
The kids enjoyed and shared their creativity.The teachers also took keen interest in motivating and
surfacing their creativity.
It was fun event where a lot of sharing happened.
We are organizing a series of workshops across places to share,appreciate
and surface creative expressions. At each place We are inspired and motivated to
see them completely engrossed in bringing out what they have to express.

A day in Clay at Diksha Foundation.

Chabutra organised "a day in day clay" on world laughter day to instill the joy and fun through creative expression through clay at Diksha foundation,Patna.It was great to see Kids without any barriers shaping their dreams.
The atmosphere was great and being untidy and messy was the fun of the day.
The music in background and small balls of clay in hand shaped each time and the connection we felt while shaping.
A week before We organized an event "share your colors" and yes they are very creative and colorful.
Truly satisfying

Moments again will add themselves together to make Today
I will wake up to know what today needs to be done as this today was tomorrow yesterday ...............
